The Planning Process

Initial Consultation

The client's visit with Bobbi begins with a personal assessment that is 60-90 minutes in length. During this session, Bobbi will create a detailed profile based on academics, previous testing, activities, and future goals. The client will receive valuable feedback during this time regarding areas of strength and of need, setting educational goals, and suggestions for increasing the client's effectiveness as an applicant. Bobbi will answer all questions from parents and student and demonstrate via a timeline how she works with her clients as they mature into conscientious and motivated applicants.

Admissions Process

Following the initial consultation, Bobbi generates a comprehensive report based on the initial profile and assessments which serves as a framework for future decisions. An initial list of colleges is presented at this time. Included in this report are recommendations for the applicant including a plan for test preparation, resumé development, college visits, summer programs, and ongoing support. To meet important benchmarks, clients adhere to a calendar plan and receive timely newsletters on relevant topics. Bobbi provides unlimited phone and e-mail accessibility, and provides helpful resources for subject and SAT tutors and special programs.

Fees will be discussed in a phone consultation with Bobbi Hannmann. A package fee for school and college placement is offered. Some services may be adapted to meet the individual needs of the client and family.
